Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary:

We are looking for individuals with a Class A CDL Dump Truck Drivers license. Potential candidates should be experienced in equipment movement and will be driving a 2016 Long Nose Peterbilt with a brand new Pitts Lowboy. An understanding in loading and unloading heavy equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers and bull dozers a must as you will be moving to and from job sites as needed. Mechanical skills would be a big plus. (Pay is based on experience.)

Driver routes will change daily, navigating highways, lots, city/county streets, residential driveways, tight overhead areas, etc. The home base and work will mainly be located in North Central Florida. Must be skilled in operating truck in reverse.

Requirements:

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· High school Diploma or Equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of dump truck driving experience

· CDL Class B or higher License required

· Must have Positive Attitude

· Must have and maintain a clean driving record.

· Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test and maintain a clean Toxicology report.

· Must have current Medical Card

· Experience with standard shift trucks

· Must have good attendance record.

·Must have reliable transportation to/from shop.

Duties:

· Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior

· Perform pre-trip inspections

• Report any problems or malfunctions to Management
• Drive from Mine to pick up materials to deliver to designated jobsites or assigned destination in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with all company, DOT, Federal, State and local safety regulations
• Complete a trip ticket for each move, keep receipt of materials hauled, and turn in tickets at the end of each work day.
• Complete all other required paperwork and turn in as required
• Able to perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed
• Assist other team members as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

Some Saturdays may be required

Overtime available
