About
Our direct State client is seeking an architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team. This individual will work with key members focusing on strategic planning, design, and the long-term vision, ensuring network solutions align with the organization. All computer networks need to be configured in such a way that all end users can securely and efficiently access the applications, data, and tools, this also involves implementing the network to meet rigorous security standards alongside installing and configuring hardware elements. Candidates must be able to provide documentation throughout the design and deployment process as a reference for future network enhancements or maintenance. Responsibilities
- Document comprehensive network designs that integrate multiple network technologies, such as LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and VPNs, to support the organization's business operations and communication needs.
- Cloud centric network design, including multi-tenant, multi-region (intra US) deployments and multi-vendor technologies across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS tiers
- Data centric network design for efficient data transfers within the agency and across agencies and with other business partners and public or otherwise external data sources
- Incorporate network solutioning with our emerging Cloud FinOps practice to support cost analysis and cost modeling for networking related cost
- Design and document the entire network implementation process
- Monitoring network performance and taking follow-up steps to resolve latency issues and security concerns
- Creating documentation throughout the design and deployment process for future reference
- Develop patterns and standards for all network designs
- The ability to analyze data traffic and system performance to determine future upgrades.
- Work with our IT staff and thirds-party equipment and software vendors to ensure the network needs are met.
- Research new technologies and solutions, and asses new technologies for adoption
