Imagine That is seeking dedicated individual to join our after school team as an After School Program Supervisor. This role involves strong group supervision, leadership skills, team communication, and the ability to be creative when planning activities for grades PreK-5 (primary focus on 2nd-4th grade).

Our mission is to encourage children to learn through play so we can organically foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Team members are encouraged to bring their imagination and be ready to put their personal stamp on the program

*Responsibilities*

  • Supervise, guide, and assist the Program Leader in implementing a variety of activities.

  • Provide homework support to students, in a group setting.

  • Collaborate with other team members.

-Regularly communicate with the Program Director.

  • Supervise students during program hours.

  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

  • Assist with organizing materials and resources for program activities.

-Take attendance and assist with dismissal.

-Ensure the space is clean at all times and in compliance.

-Message with families.

-Document behavior updates and health updates.

-Complete tasks given by the Program Director.

*Qualifications*

  • 2 years of experience or education working with children ranging from 5-10 yrs. old.

-Background in sports/coaching, tutoring, daycare, camp, or similar areas.

  • Ability to work effectively with students of different age groups and backgrounds.

  • Knowledge of classroom management techniques.

  • First aid/CPR certification is desirable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Provide a recent copy of 3 clearances: FBI Fingerprint, Child Abuse, and Criminal History.

-Ability to use a laptop, tablet, and phone for electronic documentation and communications.

-Bilingual is a plus.

  • Experience in special education, childhood development, or related fields is a plus.

A Car is not required (this location is a 5 min walk from the BSL).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
