Carpenter / Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Contractor/W2 to join our dynamic construction team. This role is vital in executing a variety of building projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on-site. As a Contractor, you will bring your expertise in multiple trades and construction processes to help deliver exceptional results across diverse projects. Duties

• Perform comprehensive construction tasks including framing
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively on-site
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
• Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
• Manage or assist with construction estimating and project planning activities as needed
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management or hands-on construction roles with a strong understanding of building processes
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for various trades including plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in diverse environments including residential remodels or commercial projects
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and project stakeholders
