Job Summary
The Staining Processing Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Staining Department by ensuring efficient processing, consistent product quality, and adherence to production timelines. This role focuses on technical execution, process accuracy, quality checks, inventory tracking, and coordination of staining activities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates with other departments to coordinate staining-related activities and maintain smooth workflow.
Oversees paint line operations, including monitoring finished parts, scheduling color changes, completing quality checks before and after paint, maintaining paint and solvent inventory, and performing chemical iteration testing of the wash system.
Orders stain materials and manages stain adjustments as needed.
Maintains monthly stain inventory and ensures accuracy in documentation.
Ensures the paint line meets company standards for safety, quality, and throughput.
Inspects finished items for compliance with customer requirements.
Collects, evaluates, and analyzes production data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
Performs regular quality inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies.
Completes precise DEQ reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Identifies and helps resolve issues related to process efficiency, materials, equipment, or workflow.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational safety and environmental regulations.
Maintains and follows established procedures and best practices for a safe work environment.
Supports departmental budgeting activities by supplying accurate operational information and data.

Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and general manufacturing techniques.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience required.
Industry experience in staining, painting, or manufacturing preferred.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods walking and standing in a warehouse environment.
Prolonged periods of desk/office work using a computer.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Sufficient visual acuity to inspect products and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
