Job Summary
As a Host/Host, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for every guest. Your energetic and friendly demeanor will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to maximize flow and satisfaction. This role is vital in fostering positive guest relations and supporting the overall hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and positive attitude, making them feel immediately welcomed.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using systems such as OpenTable to streamline guest seating.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings.
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a tidy environment that reflects hospitality standards.

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/host in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and warmly with diverse guests.
• Experience handling reservations and managing guest flow using OpenTable is highly desirable.
• Background in hospitality or hotel guest services can be an advantage, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional guest relations.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with guests both in person and over the phone.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional during busy periods while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
