We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and safe delivery of packages, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role involves operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks and commercial vehicles, to transport goods efficiently across designated routes. The Courier will play a vital role in maintaining the company's reputation for prompt and courteous service while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and other commercial driving equipment to transport packages across assigned routes.
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Load, secure, and organize deliveries to optimize route efficiency and safety.
• Deliver packages accurately and on time, maintaining a professional demeanor with customers during interactions.
• Navigate route driving using GPS or maps, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, moving goods within the warehouse, and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage for reporting purposes.

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with knowledge of route planning and navigation.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar transportation equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely, including handling pallets and packages of various sizes.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Valid driver's license suitable for driver classification or equivalent certification required.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
