Job Description – Field Supervisor (HVAC & Controls)

Position Title: Field Supervisor
Project: VA Boise Biomed VRF / HVAC System Installation
Location: Boise VA Medical Center, Boise, ID

Reports To: Project Manager

Position Overview:

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site mechanical, electrical and controls activities for the Boise VAMC Biomed HVAC project. This position ensures the work performed by subcontractors and vendors complies with project's safety standards, and schedule. The Field Supervisor acts as the on-site representative of Eleven Bravo Group, managing field coordination, quality assurance, and communication with the VA and design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily field supervision and direction for HVAC installation and controls integration.
• Coordinate all work performed by subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with VA specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Oversee system installation, testing, and startup activities.
• Enforce on-site safety policies and requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and field documentation.
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and commissioning coordination.
• Support quality control and ensure timely completion of punch list items.
• Communicate field issues and potential impacts to the Project Manager promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built documentation and closeout materials.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising mechanical or HVAC control projects.
• Strong knowledge of DDC systems, including Automated Logic or equivalent platforms.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and proven experience managing safety compliance.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
