Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the multi-axis robotic positioner industry. The ideal candidate will mechanical positioning equipment and manage projects from concept through installation. This role requires strong technical expertise, practical manufacturing knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop mechanical positioning equipment for robotic applications.

· Create detailed SolidWorks models, perform analysis, and produce engineering drawings.

· Apply practical knowledge of structural analysis, welding, machining, and assembly processes.

· Manage projects independently, including oversight of installation and implementation.

· Collaborate with internal teams and maintain positive customer interactions.

· Travel as required for project execution and customer support.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 10+ years of practical experience.

· proficiency in SolidWorks (modeling, analysis, and drawing creation).

· Practical understanding of structural analysis and manufacturing processes.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to self-manage projects and meet deadlines.

· Willingness and ability to travel (~10% max, and mainly scheduled but possible 1-3 day trips required on short notice).

Preferred Skills

· Windows programming experience.

· Robotic cell design and integration.

· PLC programming and electrical design knowledge.
