POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the direction and supervision of SVP, Client Success, the Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team that provides operational and administrative support to the sales organization. This includes Marketing and Sales / Business Development, who are driving new business, and the Strategic Engagements team, which is responsible for client satisfaction and growing accounts. The Sales Operations Manager will oversee the execution of critical sales support functions, serving as the central point of contact across sales and cross-functional departments to ensure team efficiency, consistency and alignment with broader Cimplifi organizational goals. The ideal candidate has experience implementing process improvements and collaborating effectively across sales, marketing, and leadership teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for a wide range of sales support functions by setting clear goals and performance expectations.
  • Manage the timely execution for the sales operations outlined in the Essential Functions section.
  • Effectively align and collaborate with sales leadership and other Cimplifi departments to support business development initiatives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for sales leadership in relation to sales policies, processes, and tools.
  • Perform continuous review of sales policies, procedures and tools to drive standardization, and ensure efficiencies are in place.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

In this capacity, the Sales Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day work and continuously improve how the team handles the core Sales Operations tasks below. This list is subject to change as business needs grow.

  • Oversee and contribute to providing timely and quality RFP responses in collaboration with Sales and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Ensure timely submission and communication for the Conflict Check Process.
  • Assist Sales & SE team Compiling Estimates and Proposals that align with details provided and Cimplifi pricing standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales & SE team on Contract & SOW generation support in CLM.
  • creation and updates of Playbooks on internal Cimplifi tool based on direction of Sales & SE team.
  • Maintain and organize SOPs and Collateral for Sales procedures.
  • Assist with the planning and communication for any change management within the department.
  • Assist in sales report and research requests to help drive business development growth, including but not limited to reporting on pipeline and activity and inputting leads from Marketing Events.
  • Provide first-tier support for any end-user process questions in Salesforce, CLM and other systems primarily managed by Sales Operations. Including but not limited to data entry and opportunity updates within the systems.
  • Work at the direction of Sales/SE to assist in the coordination of New Client Onboarding.
  • Provide assistance with internal and client-facing event logistics including the planning and event preparation.
  • Lead time providing first line of objective inquiry resolution as requested from time to time by the sales team for prospects and clients alike that help further the sales and customer relationship process

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to master company's various computer systems
  • Proven and relevant management experience in a fast-paced Sales Operations organization
  • Demonstrated management skills and ability to oversee a team.
  • Possesses exemplary interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiations and teamwork.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving capabilities.
  • 5+ years' experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

GOALS & VARIABLE COMPENSATION

Variable compensation will be tied to annual goals set during Performance Review planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $150,000.00 per year
