Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the first moment.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing service tasks, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering software, ensuring proper cash handling and math accuracy.
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating versatility in food industry roles.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions about menu items, making recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Support the team during busy nightclub hours or special events by managing guest relations and maintaining a lively atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments where attention to detail is essential.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols is highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency on the floor.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality are crucial for success in this role.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude is essential.
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling are required to ensure accurate transactions.
• Experience in serving at nightclubs or hosting/hostessing roles can be advantageous for dynamic service environments.
