Line Cook

Job Overview
Crossroads Diner is a fast-paced breakfast and lunch restaurant looking to hire skilled line cooks.

Duties

• Greet customers at your tables and make them feel welcome.
• Take customer orders and input them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
• Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery.
• Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.

Skills and Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience working in full-service restaurants is required.
• Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday.
• Must have Food Handler's License and be TABC Certified
• Need to have time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Proficiency with the SpotOn POS system is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and coworkers
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
