Project Scheduler

O'Connell Electric Company is seeking an individual with proven experience in the Electrical Construction industry. A project scheduler creates, manages, and tracks project timelines, ensuring tasks meet deadlines by developing schedules, monitoring progress, analyzing critical paths, and communicating updates to stakeholders.

This position will support a large data center project located in Niagara County, NY. This is a full-time position with fluctuating working hours; some evening and weekend work will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and critical path analysis.
  • Coordinate task assignments, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/delays, and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Generate and distribute project status reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure schedules align with project goals and company-wide deadlines.
  • Support the entire life-cycle of an EPC project, including conceptual schedules for design development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Project Management, Engineering, or related) preferred.
  • Experience (1-3+ years) in a related industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication (verbal & written), and organizational skills.
  • Key Skills: Time management, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, critical path method (CPM) knowledge.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with project management software – specifically, MS Project, Primavera (P6), Procore and Accubid.
  • Experience and comfort with Cloud based tools is helpful.
  • Strong technical aptitude to learn and master company specific tools and programs is required.

Compensation:

The minimum and maximum annual salary that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $70,000 to $85,000 annually.
