Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making them feel at home.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide accurate wait times and updates to guests, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating transitions and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with an approachable demeanor.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving, and hotel experience, is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster positive interactions.

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
