Qualifications:
- Licensed Mechanic (313A), will consider registered apprentice.
- G1 gas license is mandatory.
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot HVAC equipment (RTUs, boilers, air-cooled chillers, make-up airs, air handlers, heaters etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
- Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job.
- Ability to work independently without much supervision.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Driver's license and a clean drivers abstract.
- Ability to effectively manage time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment.
- Educating our client on how to use and maintain their equipment.
- Perform scheduled and emergency service on a variety of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
- Order parts needed for repairs if needed.
- Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
- Complete quote sheets for work recommended.
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
