Yard Forklift Operator

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials around the yard
• Handle lumber and construction materials with care and precision
• Organize yard inventory and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Assist with manual loading/unloading and general yard tasks as required
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with yard supervisors and team members

• Valid forklift operator ticket (required) - Must have been completed in person. Online tickets are not accepted
• 1–2 years of forklift experience in a yard or construction environment (an asset)
• Experience with lumber or building materials (preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labour
• Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
• Must have reliable transportation
