Business Data Analyst ONSITE

This is an infrastructure/operations division.

They need folks with backgrounds in infrastructure, business analysis, and data analysis with Excel and Power BI.

Job Summary

We are seeking a
Technical Business Analyst
with strong IT experience to support file share migration and access control improvement projects. This role requires onsite work and close collaboration with the Project Manager and business leaders. Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for file share migration and access control.
• Analyze current file share structures, permissions, and access issues.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business owners to understand workflows and pain points.
• Support planning and execution of migration activities.
• Assist the Project Manager with project coordination and delivery tasks.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and process flows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a
  Technical or IT Business Analyst
  .
• Understanding of file systems, network shares, NTFS permissions, and Active Directory.
• Experience with
  data/file migration projects
  preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
