Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyze software architecture, design, and implementation to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Analyze business requirements and design cloud-based solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security needs.
- Build and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement and configure cloud services such as virtual machines, containers, databases, storage, and networking.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using CI/CD pipelines with tools like Harness, Jenkins, or similar.
- Continuously improve and optimize development and release processes through automation and standardization.
- Identify manual or repetitive tasks and implement automation to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines to incorporate security vulnerability scanning and code quality checks.
- Templatize and standardize repeatable CI/CD processes across microservices for consistency and scalability.
- Optimize pipeline execution time by implementing parallel processing and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Implement and manage security controls and compliance measures such as access controls, encryption, and auditing.
- Monitor cloud and platform infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud-based and platform architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents in a timely manner.
- Implementing and managing security controls and compliance requirements such as access controls, encryption, and auditing.
- Optimizing cloud infrastructure and services for cost-efficiency and performance.
- Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues and incidents related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Providing technical guidance and support to development teams on platform-based architecture and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proficiency in building and deploying cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of automation principles and hands-on experience automating infrastructure provisioning and deployments using CI/CD tools such as Harness, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Experience implementing and configuring various cloud services including virtual machines, containers, databases, storage, and networking.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices for cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Knowledge of implementing and managing security controls and compliance requirements such as access controls, encryption, and auditing in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud-based architecture and infrastructure.
- Proven track record of identifying and troubleshooting technical issues and incidents related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Pay: $135, $180,000.00 per year
