Roll-Off Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating , roll-off / tri-axle truck. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in transporting materials while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Duties

• Safely operate roll-off trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and materials transported.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Able to pass a drug screening test .
• Familiarity with operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Experience in manual transmission driving is preferred.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $32.40 per hour
