About

The Junior Business Analyst (JBA) will support the product and engineering teams by documenting business and technical requirements, maintaining traceability and consistency. The JBA will work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather and document requirements, and support product delivery framework to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability. The JBA will work in a modern, technology-forward environment leveraging automation and AI tools to improve Product processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, processes, and objectives.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.
  • Assist in documenting and validating requirements for new or existing systems.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and developers to ensure requirements are well understood.
  • Create work breakdown structures, business requirements, system requirements specifications, to capture client requirements; provide direction to developers and/or the PMO on scope and execution.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting during system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate product documentation and suggest updates when issues are identified.
  • Assist with data tracking and reporting across programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, systems support, or product support
  • Familiarity with software development processes
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Strong interest in technology and business process improvement.
  • Experience with AI for documentation and automation is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with requirements-gathering techniques and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
