About
Make a Lasting Difference as a Trauma-Informed Therapist
If you're passionate about helping children and families heal, grow, and thrive, this is your opportunity to do deeply meaningful work — every single day.
What's in it for you:
- Make an impact that matters. You'll provide professional, trauma-informed therapy to clients of all ages — from infants to adults — helping them overcome challenges and build stronger, healthier lives.
- Be part of a mission-driven team. Work closely with educators and staff at our Child Development Center (CDC), where your expertise shapes therapeutic interventions and supports children's emotional and developmental growth.
- Grow your clinical skills. You'll deliver evidence-based Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for children aged 0-5 and gain hands-on experience in early childhood mental health — a valuable specialty that enhances your professional development.
- Enjoy flexibility and variety. Your work includes one-on-one sessions, family therapy, and group counseling, with flexible hours to meet families' needs.
- See real results. You'll have the satisfaction of watching children and families make tangible progress — and knowing you played a key role in their success.
- Collaborate and learn. Participate in regular team meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary collaboration that keep your skills sharp and your work connected.
- Grow in a supportive environment. You'll be part of a team that values your voice, invests in your growth, and encourages innovation in care.
- Provide ongoing therapy and counseling for individuals, families, and groups, following trauma-informed best practices.
- Offer clinical consultation and insights to CDC staff to strengthen classroom-based therapeutic support.
- Conduct Special Needs Assessments for children in therapeutic childcare.
- Maintain accurate treatment plans, notes, and documentation to ensure high-quality, goal-oriented care.
- Coordinate with other agencies and community resources to connect families with the support they need.
- Meet a billable hour goal of 20–25 hours per week, while maintaining a sustainable and balanced caseload.
