Role Description:

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will plan and oversee the daily operations of the terminal to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. Including but not limited to equipment, machinery, products, and personnel management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supports on the interview process for new hires.
  • Responsible for training execution for all warehouse employees.
  • Organizes and oversees the daily schedules and work assigned to employees.
  • Supports in the development of the team by providing constructive feedback and coaching team members as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring that cement terminal safety protocols are followed.
  • Responsible to lead the team in an environment of respect, safety, and excellence by always leading by example.
  • Supports the team by fostering a positive attitude and being a team player.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and warehouse supervision.
  • Supports the Operations personnel on equipment and preventive maintenance team.
  • Supports the team to ensure daily productivity goals are met to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Partners with Operations personnel to seek guidance and direct warehouse supervision.
  • Oversees the receiving and effective organization of products inside the terminal and other facilities.
  • Daily communication with Operation personnel, shift leads and team members to provide information on a need-to-know basis to ensure goals are met.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance: lead and hold the team members accountable to work in the same way.
  • Ensure Equipment is operational to meet daily productions goals and communicate immediately to the Operations personnel in the event of equipment malfunctioning.
  • Collaborate with the Operations personnel to repair or troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
  • Relief shift leads and terminal operators for breaks and lunches when appropriate.
  • Supports leaders during investigations when needed.
  • Work a schedule that aligns with the business needs (this includes early mornings, evening, overnight shifts, and weekends)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively managing bias.
  • Address terminal needs (emergencies etc.)
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Physical Demands and Work environment :

  • Prolonged periods of walking on site
  • Continually working in a dusty work environment
  • Required the use of a face mask respirator and other PPE
  • Work on high elevations
  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Continually utilized visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
  • Frequently required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds/50 pounds.
  • Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
  • Continually work near moving mechanical parts
  • Continually exposure to outside weather conditions
  • Continually exposure to extreme heat or cold
  • Frequently loud noise (machinery)
  • Frequently very loud noises (example: jack hammer, compressors etc.)

Specialized equipment, machinery or vehicles used: Forklifts, electric hand tools, manlift, supersack-breakers, Silos, reclaim, (equipment assemblies)

Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Pay: From $5,000.00 per month
