Assistant General Manager

Tommy's Express Car Wash is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our car wash facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

2. Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

3. Supervise and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service.

4. Collaborate with the General Manager to implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

5. Customer Service:

6. Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring excellent service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

7. Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
8. Train, mentor, and coach staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
9. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

10. Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

11. Quality Control:

12. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment functionality.

13. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

14. Address and resolve any issues related to equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

15. Financial Management:

16. Assist in monitoring financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and budget adherence.

17. Collaborate with the General Manager to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
18. Inventory Management:
19. Oversee inventory levels and ordering of supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.

20. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize costs.

21. Safety and Compliance:

22. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

23. Implement and enforce health and safety standards for both customers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a managerial role within the car wash or related industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of car wash equipment and maintenance practices a plus.
• Proven track record in achieving operational and financial goals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
