About

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in building and executing automated test suites. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of software testing principles, and experience working in Agile development environments. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and identify test scenarios for automation feasibility.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing automation frameworks.
  • Report, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Perform manual testing when required (functional, regression, smoke, sanity).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in QA automation.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as:
  • Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
  • TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, or Jest (depending on the tech stack)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82, $113,577.84 per year
