We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our busy facility in New York City, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and possesses a strong commitment to Safety and teamwork. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and assisting with order fulfillment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting. Experience with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, is beneficial. You will play a key role in maintaining an organized and secure work environment. Adherence to all company policies and Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move and organize inventory within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and Safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Follow instructions and work effectively as part of the logistics team.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe workplace.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
