About
Our distribution center in Indianapolis, Indiana, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. As a vital member of our logistics operations, you will be involved in the complete lifecycle of product movement within the facility. This includes receiving inbound shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing outgoing orders, and preparing shipments for transportation. You will operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and possibly forklifts, to move materials efficiently and safely. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, requiring all associates to utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines. This role involves physical activity, including significant lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial to ensure proper inventory management and order fulfillment. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet performance expectations for speed and accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE.
