In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of all deliveries. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately recording received items into our inventory system. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, as it lays the groundwork for effective inventory management and subsequent order fulfillment. We are looking for meticulous individuals with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records is essential. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and all employees must adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. This role involves physical activity, such as lifting, pushing, and pulling merchandise, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and basic computer skills are highly beneficial.
