We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, playing a vital role in our logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and carefully packing them for shipment. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to all safety protocols. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily fulfillment targets and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, possess excellent attention to detail, and understand the importance of timely order processing. We provide all necessary training and support to ensure your success in this role. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and handling of goods, is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Safely and efficiently pack products into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring adequate protection.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
