Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and identify incoming materials.
- Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from various departments or staging areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and mandatory procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proven ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent physical condition, including the ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE consistently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
