In this role, you will be responsible for managing the movement of materials throughout the facility, including receiving, stocking, and staging items for various processes. Your attention to detail will ensure accuracy in handling and organization. We are deeply committed to Safety, and all Material Handlers must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow established Safety protocols. This position requires physical stamina, including regular Lifting of materials and sustained activity. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Stock materials in designated locations and maintain organization.
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or other processes.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Perform frequent Lifting of materials, potentially weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient material flow.
- Follow all logistics procedures and company guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or Safety hazards immediately.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse atmosphere.
- Ensure accuracy in material handling and placement.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand labels and instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards and using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Experience with basic material handling equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics principles.
