Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to locate products efficiently.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to optimize workflow.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform frequent Lifting of items, potentially weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as directed.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all logistics procedures for efficient order processing.
- Report any issues with products, equipment, or Safety hazards promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient warehouse environment.
- Understand and apply principles of good inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capacity to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting and prolonged standing/walking.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics setting.
