You will be instrumental in ensuring that products move efficiently through our facility, from receipt to dispatch. Responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, verifying incoming inventory, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight and verify contents against shipping documents.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately select items for customer orders and package them securely for transit.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment, following all safety procedures.
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct usage of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is advantageous.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Good understanding of logistics principles.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
