Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in warehouse performance.
- Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and knowledge of PPE requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage a team effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
