We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our critical logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers with precision and care.
- Identify and stage materials for shipment or put away.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory locations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Safely handle products, ensuring no damage occurs during transport.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs when necessary for product handling.
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification is required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment. Proven ability to work safely and efficiently. Must possess strong attention to detail and good communication skills. A commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE requirements is non-negotiable.
