Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Sort, organize, and store merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment according to company standards.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Follow all established safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and ensure efficient logistics.
- Engage in consistent lifting and movement of goods, adhering to safe lifting practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.
