We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. This is a key position within our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. We require all employees to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing to ensure quality.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment according to company and carrier standards.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed orders to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Perform duties involving lifting and moving of products throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and order processing.
