Join our team in Madison, Wisconsin, as an Order Picker! We are seeking diligent individuals to play a key role in our warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This position is essential to our logistics process, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members to meet productivity goals. We prioritize a safe working environment and require strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your commitment to safety and precision is highly valued. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order forms or RF scanner data.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Stage picked orders in the designated packing or shipping area.
- Assist with basic inventory tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team dynamic.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player attitude.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
