About
We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in our daily logistics operations, ensuring that products are received, processed, and shipped efficiently and accurately. You will be involved in a variety of tasks that keep our supply chain moving smoothly. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all associates are expected to adhere to strict guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, and demonstrate safe lifting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against shipping documents.
- Sort, label, and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks, ensuring secure and safe transport.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock audits.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Implement safe lifting techniques for all materials handled.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic mathematical and reading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
