Automotive Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Junior Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Automotive Technician with a variety of automotive repair and maintenance tasks for used vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power and hand tools. We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications *You will be required to bring your own tools*

Duties:
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Weld and fabricate parts when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality after repairs

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working as an Automotive Technician
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex automotive issues
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment
