About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead large-scale IT initiatives, drive project delivery, and support organizational transformation. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing IT projects in the
healthcare sector
, working with distributed teams, and overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle: planning, coordination, governance, and delivery
- Oversee procurement and financial tracking
- Manage stakeholder communications across all levels
- Drive organizational change management and adoption
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and project activities
- Monitor progress, risks, issues, and provide executive reporting
- Support requirements gathering, design, and transition activities
- Manage project resources, coach team members, and ensure high performance
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years managing IT projects in the healthcare sector
- Experience managing
budgets over $2M
and
teams of 5+ FTEs - Strong skills in
MS Office
, reporting, documentation, project planning (WBS), and communication - Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with multiple integrated systems
- Organizational change management experience
- Solid understanding of IT architecture, systems, and processes
Must-Have Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration (or Master's in Business Administration)
- PMP certification
- PgMP certification
- Minimum five (5) years managing IT projects in healthcare
Nice to Have
- Experience in data analytics or large IT environments
- Experience with enterprise-scale platforms and modern IT methodologies
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Strong understanding of IT standards and architecture
