Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations, upsell menu items, and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, manage open tables via OpenTable or similar platforms, and process payments with precision
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and overall restaurant hygiene
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not required
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving and guest interactions
• Basic math skills for accurate billing, cash handling, and transaction processing
