About
Join the Township of Wellington North as an Aquatics Program Coordinator, on a Seasonal Fixed Term Contract, that will work from approximately May until end of August 2026.

Lead training, scheduling and daily operations.

High school diploma
Minimum 2 years of lifeguarding experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stay calm and effective in emergencies
National Lifeguard
Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor
Standard First Aid – CPR C/AED
Aquatic Supervisor Training or willingness to obtain
Ability to prepare paperwork and use registration systems
Valid G Driver's License
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening for anyone over 18.
Other bonus skills include but not required: Aquatic Instructor Certification, Emergency First Aid Instructor and previous aquatic leadership experience.
This is a Seasonal Fixed Term Contract position, that works between 30 to 40 hours per week.
Shifts will include early mornings, daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays, between 6am to 8:30pm.
Outdoor aquatic environment, with exposure to varying weather, chemicals, mechanical systems and moderate noise.
Travel between various locations across the Township.
Role involves standing, swimming, walking, lifting, cleaning and active supervision.
Pay Range: $20.60 to $25.00 per hour
