Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled
Snowflake Data Analyst
to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with the Snowflake cloud data platform, building analytical datasets, and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data models and analytical views using
    Snowflake
  • Write and optimize complex
    SQL queries
    for data analysis and reporting
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation across multiple data sources
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
  • Translate business questions into data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Support data ingestion and transformation processes in collaboration with data engineering teams
  • Monitor and improve query performance and cost efficiency in Snowflake
  • Document data definitions, business logic, and analytical processes
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Snowflake
    (data modeling, querying, performance tuning)
  • Advanced proficiency in
    SQL
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud data warehouses
  • Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran, Informatica, Matillion, dbt)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation
  • Experience working in consulting or fast-paced, client-facing environments
  • Snowflake or cloud data certifications
