Overview
We are seeking an Auto Body Painter subcontractor or a technician to join our automotive repair team in Ajax, ON.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint colours
- Apply paint, clear coat, and finishes using spray equipment
- Perform spot repairs, blending, and full paint jobs as required
- Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality, consistent results
- Maintain paint booth, tools, and equipment in clean and safe condition
- Follow safety procedures and shop standards at all times
Skills
- Experience in auto body painting or paint preparation (entry-level considered with relevant experience)
- Knowledge of automotive paint systems, materials, and application techniques
- Ability to use spray guns, sanders, polishers, and related tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
