Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Department: Warehouse

Shift: Straight Days: 6:30AM - 3:00PM (Monday to Friday)

Environment: Freezer and Cooler

Location: 21 York Rd, Brantford, ON

Warehouse Operator Responsibilities and Duties

This is a physical position which includes the following duties:

• Prepare, pick and complete orders according to written instructions on packing sheets or RF computer.
• Operate Raymond Reach Truck/Dock Stocker and Walkie/Rider.
• Receive and process warehouse orders (picking, wrapping, put away, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, work area and freezers clean.
• Perform inventory/audit controls and keep quality standards high.
• Maintain consistent and quality work by following organizational procedures and methods.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

General Labour Duties

This is a physical position which includes the following duties:

• Repacking frozen product into cases on an assembly line.
• Ability to lift objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain consistent and quality work by following organizational procedures and methods.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping work area clean.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Teamwork oriented and positive attitude.
• Perform audit controls and keep quality standards high.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience as a warehouse worker is an asset.
• Teamwork oriented and positive attitude.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent reading and math comprehension.

A freezer suit is supplied for Warehouse Operator to start. You are required to bring your own CSA approved safety boots & hat.
