Job description

Apex Security proudly serves Northern Alberta, providing security and protection services to our clients. We are currently looking to hire an additional administrator to support our growing services and sales departments.

This position will utilize strong organizational, logistical and customer service skills.
A solid understanding of Security, Cameras, Networking and Card Access systems would be a large asset.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and follow up with all work requests/requirements for clients that require technical service on or off-site.

Review system dispositions daily, advising clients of any system deficiencies.

Track and confirm billable hour logs on work orders and confirm payroll hours.

Tracking of office and technician truck stock inventory. Monitoring of regularly used parts to keep a minimum stock level on hand.

Update system pricing lists on commonly utilized items.

Track technician safety and training certificates to confirm active. Schedule training for technicians based on job requirements.

Support administrative functions of the sales department, including preparing paperwork.

Create periodic reports for job labor and payroll, inventory, supply expenses, etc. and present to management as required to provide insight on productivity.

Submitting, receiving, and tracking of all vendors' equipment orders.

Fill parts from inventory or orders for new jobs with parts required.

Qualifications:

Must be very organized

Be able to work fast in a fast-paced environment with deadlines

Must be a positive person with great energy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars a must.

Strong work ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently or as part of a team
