Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support. You will play a crucial role in managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments while managing the calendar for healthcare providers.
  • Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with attention to detail, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Greeting, scheduling/booking and screening patients in-person or via telephone/email
  • Assist with the intake process for new patients, collecting necessary documentation and insurance information.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and address any concerns that arise.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as laundry, filing, data entry, managing correspondence, billing
  • Provide support in a healthcare office setting as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for patients.

Minimum requirements:

· Grade 12/ GED (required)

· HR or Business Administration experience (required)

· Proficiency with English

· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

· Able to speak Punjabi will be an asset

· Proficiency in Jane App will be an asset

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office or dental office is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential to facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
