Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team at CJ Equipment Sales and Service. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while facilitating their mechanical repair needs. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and sales acumen to ensure customer satisfaction and promote dealership services.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated timelines.
- Provide accurate information about services offered, upselling additional services when appropriate.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Create Invoices and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service orders.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring compliance with dealership standards.
Skills
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on building relationships and providing excellent support.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair, truck and coach and heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
- Invoicing experience is beneficial for managing transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
