Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner/server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth food service operations by taking orders delivering dishes promptly and maintaining excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry, hospitality, and restaurant environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Strong communication skills, attention to cleanliness, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Duties

• Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately
• Ensure that all dishes are presented correctly and at appropriate temperatures
• Assist with clearing tables and resetting for new guests
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including wiping down surfaces and organizing utensils
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow
• Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Support the team during busy periods by assisting with basic cleaning tasks and other duties as needed
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely
• Kitchen experience or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute positively to the team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
