Class 1 Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across designated routes. Ghost Transportation Services is an established, locally owned company, with over 37 years in the transportation industry. We are looking for Class 1A drivers for Regional work hauling within the Prairie Provinces.

Duties

• Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment for local or regional deliveries
• Logging HOS through E-Logs
• Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation
• Perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting when necessary
• Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries

Requirements

• Valid Class 1A driver's license with a clean Driver Abstract
• Experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling
• Knowledge of forklift operation and basic automotive repair is preferred
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills and dependability in meeting delivery schedules
• Read, write and speak fluent English
